Better Than Love is the HURTS' next single released in May, is faster than the likes of Wonderful Life and the plodding Blood, Tears and Gold. Theo, the lead singer, is very good because he can sing, he sings properly and he doesn’t hold back. The song rattles and pulsates, bleeps and twangs. The best part is “Does it feeeel better than love?” and then it crashes in to a great chorus. It would have some spectacular remixes like Jamaica Remix and it shows that HURTS are more than a few black and white pictures.
